This inner voice is dedicated to all the women who wake up one day to and realize they are not as healthy as they used to be at 18; especially when it comes to the excess weight gathered over our body. All of this, besides being so busy running a marathon between personal and professional commitments. It seems tough to put a finger on anything in particular that could have led to being unfit. The Doctor's voice still rings in my head & quote; You need to take a pause and make a big shift in your LIFESTYLE; Else the deterrent to this condition is Blindness, Kidney failure, Nerve disorder, Liver cancer, and the list is never-ending.”And like it would to anybody, this too left me in an emotional turbulence. But hey, the good news is that it’s completely reversible. Quick changes in eating right and on time, exercise, good sleep and manage time mindfully; it’s that simple. But what is tough yet necessary is to commit to this rhythm.
Three questions one needs to answer;
1) How important is your health over other responsibilities? 2) How does one make it a compelling need, every single day to wake up from bed?
3) Do you have it in you at this age to resist temptations, push limits and create a better version of you? 4) What is the cost of not doing it?
The time is today. The time is now…
